Ali Hashim

Ali Hashim holds a Masters in Business Administration and was the 8th Governor and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Maldives Monetary Authority. During this period, he also served as the Chairperson of the World Bank group of Board of Governors. He is also the former Minister of Finance and Treasury.

He is an avid computer enthusiast with programing skills in a variety of computer languages and has a passion for teaching, primarily in the area of economics and finance. He also provides consultancy in automation, customer care and Point of Sale systems.
