Ahmed Saruvash Adam is a seasoned expert in finance, economic development, and strategic planning, with a strong track record of shaping fiscal policy and driving financial reforms in the Maldives. As the former Chief Financial Budget Executive at the Ministry of Finance, he played a key role in national budget management, macroeconomic forecasting, and tax policy formulation, significantly contributing to fiscal transparency and governance. He also served as the Chairperson of the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority's Board of Directors, where he guided strategic planning and policy development. Currently, in the private sector, Saruvash advises on financial and business development, drawing on his extensive experience across both public and private sectors. He holds an MSc in Economic Development and Policy Analysis from the University of Nottingham, UK.
